February Update: New Brand Safety Signals & AI Detection

It’s been a busy start to the year at DeepSee.io. Our February update introduces stronger content quality indicators, expanded brand safety signals, and our new reports section for DeepSee.io clients.

Here’s what’s new.

Stronger Brand Safety Signals

We’ve expanded our content risk detection to include clearer brand safety indicators across four sensitive categories:

  • Drugs
  • Adult content
  • Arms & ammunition
  • Gambling

These signals are now surfaced directly within the content tab and are considered separate to the IAB content taxonomy, making it easier to quickly identify environments that may fall outside brand safety content guidelines.

Reworked Content Quality Signals

A section of the Content tab has been fully reworked to provide clearer indicators of:

  • AI-generated imagery
  • AI-generated text (Detection still in Beta- stay tuned for updates)
  • Low-effort or templated content patterns

These improvements make it easier to distinguish between high quality, authentic editorial environments and large-scale synthetic content production.

We share more about AI slop in our recent report – more on this later!

Automatically Generated List Summaries

List analysis just got easier. These summaries are designed to help you quickly understand what’s happening across a list without needing to review each domain individually.

New Reports: Video Signals & AI Slop

We recently released two new reports:

  • Optimizing for Video Quality Isn’t as Simple as Buying the Biggest Sites
  • AI Slop and the Collapse of Quality Signals in Programmatic

As a DeepSee.io client you can access these anytime by logging into the portal and navigating to the new reports section.
